When a widow gets a big vision! ReBuild, Laos

Turn the clock back a year ago....

A widow has her house burned down in an act of religious persecution.

The Lord saw her plight and moved the hearts of many to give to help her ReBuild. Some of you gave and I thank you.

I have been following up with the ReBuild project for Sang Arun since we started the project last February 2022.

I am pleased to share this photo with you of Sang's rebuilt home.

You will recognise the man from the original photo, his family have been a big support to Sang and she stayed with his village until it was safe to return.

As she commenced rebuilding her home, Sang enlarged her vision and in prayer asked the Lord to show her a bigger vision. She laid foundations in faith, bigger than what had been there before with the vision to use her home as a gathering place for other disciples.

As a result there is now a gathering of disciples that meets there.

When our friends visited her for a follow up, Sang was not at home as she was visiting some of their number that have been detained in custody in Savannakhet on account of their faith in Yeshua.

The disciples in Laos face continuous threats of persecution and incarceration, often having spent more than one period of detainment. I attach a reference site from Open Doors about the condition for disciples in Laos here.

Please pray with us that the Lord will open the doors and they will be protected and for the disciples that meet in Sang Arun's home.

May they stretch out to the left and to the right.

And finally for you our friends, if we can pray with you for any personal matters , please reach out or if you have anything to share we would love to hear from you.
